Cheers Gav. The Hyde situation is undoubtedly a good thing, the Man United one definitely not. Season tix are on open sale now and their financial accounts are due for publication soon – things might come to a head even sooner than expected at this rate.

Interesting article. I’ve read that Milner was both playing in the holding role and a switch for Joe Cole on the left. No wonder Milner was stretched, I’m confused just thinking about it! Everyone is down on Milner because of half an hour of miss-timed tackles. Perhaps he wasn’t back to full fitness? Perhaps he resented playing down the left flank when he really wants the holding role behind Gerrard and Lampard (place marked for Barry)? We need 4-5-1. J Cole needs his job back on the left. Heskey needs to sit down and watch the game. Barry or Milner (he really hasn’t been given a clear or reasonable brief yet) needs to command the pivotal position in the middle. Unless we make such major tactical changes I can even see Algeria giving us the run around! It could get very embarrassing!
